Not everyone needs to catch a big fish to put a smile on their face

This was the results of fishing the shoreline of Ahmic Lake for a couple of hours. It still brought a smile to a newly hooked fisher-woman.

Well it seems as though we've got the secret.......at least junior does!

The Lone Bass of Chandos Lake.

I read a lot about Chandos Lake so thought I would give it a try. Four hours of jigging, tube jigs, lures, trolling, top water and the only fish we caught was this bass..........ten minutes after we launched. We did have a small pike follow a lure..............so over the side ......figure eight...........followed it but wouldn't hit. We're going to have to return and figure this lake out..........one day.......maybe.........
